Description
Used Microzone Corporation Horizontal Laminar Flow Hood. Electrics: 1/60/115 volts, 1/3 HP. Room air is first drawn into the HEPA module through a special pre-filtration blower assembly then forces this pre-filtered air into the positive pressure plenum which surrounds the HEPA filter. Air passes through the HEPA and sweeps into the work volume in a manner which prevents extraneous airborne particulates from entering the work area. Cleanliness level: class 100 or better. Air velocity: 90ft/min. The HEPA module maintains a positive pressure within the plenum and a negative pressure at the downstream gasket at 99.99% efficiency. Blower mounted on vibration isolation frame. Last used in a large pharmaceutical facility.
